Prior to forming the Originator in February 2016, Mr. Grinberg was a portfolio manager with BTG Pactual GEMM and the head of its European ABS strategy from April 2013 to February 2016 (in London until July 2015 and in New York until February 2016). From June 2011 to April 2013, he was a managing director at UBS in London and the head of European ABS products trading. Previously, from June 2000 to June 2011, Mr. Grinberg had various roles at Credit Suisse in both New York and London, specifically as a director of securitized products trading and asset finance (2008 to 2011), a director and the head of the global asset finance principal group (2005 to 2008), a director on the asset finance team (2002 to 2005) and an associate on the financial engineering team (2000 to 2002). Mr. Grinberg started his career at WMC Mortgage Corporation in Woodland Hills, California, as an associate from 1998 to 2000.
Mr. Grinberg earned an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management of the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1998.
Prior to joining GBCap Asset Management Mr. Newman worked for Resource America as head of residential mortgage trading, pricing and risk management. At Hudson Advisors he was responsible for obtaining financing for Lone Star Funds mortgage whole loan and servicing portfolios. Mr. Newman ran a proprietary trading team at Citigroup focusing on mortgage and bank credit strategies. Prior to Citigroup, Robert was a Senior Vice President at C-BASS where he was the portfolio manager for the RMBS and mortgage loan and servicing portfolios.
Mr. Newman holds a BA in economics from the University of Maryland.
Prior to his role with the Investment Manager, from January 2011 to January 2015, Mr. Koyfman was a knowledge management attorney in banking at White & Case LLP in New York. (He was a private legal consultant during various periods between 2005 and 2015.) Previously, from August 2005 to May 2008, Mr. Koyfman worked at UBS in Stamford, Connecticut as a director and senior counsel in the leveraged finance group of the legal department. From February 2002 to June 2005, he worked at WestLB AG in New York as a director and counsel in the corporate and finance group of the legal and compliance department. He began his career in 1996 as a corporate associate in the project finance and banking groups of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York, where he worked until 2002.
Mr. Koyfman earned a B.S. from Yeshiva University College in 1993 and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 1996.
Mr. Dillon is an investment professional with over 15 years of experience across all asset classes. He was previously with Merrill Lynch as a portfolio manager and Tradition Financial Services in equity research and sales. Mr Dillon also spent 7 years in commodities including several years running all aspects of a profitable energy futures trading fund.
Mr. Dillon earned at B.A from Providence College.
